Responsibilities

Andrew is responsible for leading the development and delivery of AON T&L’s claims strategy globally to ensuring that we have a consistent professional approach to provide the best claims service for our clients worldwide.

Andrew is also the Head of Marine Cargo claims for AON’s Global Broking Centre in London, managing a dedicated cargo advocate team. Responsibilities include the day to day management of the team, training, performance and ensuring client satisfaction remains at the core of our claims handling philosophy.

As part of the role, Andrew has responsibly including providing trend analysis and wording / clause construction feedback to benefit both existing and new clients on their risk exposure.  Liaison with all of Aon cargo hubs globally and along with ensuring all accounts are managed professionally and that claims handlings meets client expectations. Andrew also personally manages many of AON’s large and or highly complex cargo losses.

Experience

Andrew joined the Aon cargo team at the beginning of 2018 and has over 25 years’ experience in cargo insurance during which time he held leadership positions with two of the largest Lloyds Syndicates, a IG P&I Club and large ocean carrier.

Andrew’s experience is across all forms of cargoes including blue chip global STP, commodities, banks refinery products, pharmaceuticals and food / beverage.
