Max joined Lockton towards the end of 2022 as an SVP within in the Marine Cargo / Stock Throughput team (Transportation Department), and charged with building out the Cargo team’s capabilities and driving growth for the global Marine practice.
Prior to his appointment at Lockton, Max obtained his university degree in Insurance&Finance in 2012, and straight after started his career at Marsh in Continental Europe, specialising in Commodity trading clients.
Max was then recruited into the London operations in 2014, where he’s since focussed on (mainly USA) Stock Throughput risks, with a particular focus on Fortune 500 clients.
Gracechurch appointed Max as the overall leading broker in the London market, consecutively in 2021 and 2022, came 2nd in the Marine specific ranking in 2023 and first in Marine specific ranking in 2024 and 2025.
