Ed is in our London Cargo Team having joined Marsh in 2019 following the acquisition of JLT where he spent 8 years and prior to that 30 years in the Cargo Market including 22 Years with Marsh.

Ed manages a wide range of clients in our portfolio across all industry sectors emanating from Latin America and Australasia. Ed is a Client Executive but also supports the strategic direction of marketing and new business production. He is fluent in Spanish.

Ed is on the Cargo Management Group and Operations Forum. He specialises in the management and placement of Marine Cargo and Stock Throughput Insurance programs in the London and specialized International Cargo markets. His primary focus since joining the industry is in South America for our Marsh and CMF Network offices given that he worked in Chile for nearly 4 years in 2000 – 2003.

He travels extensively with clients to ensure insurers and Marsh fully recognize and understand local operations and business cultures so that the overall insurance solution is tailored around those specific client needs.

For certain clients, Ed manages bespoke Risk Management/Loss Control programs in conjunction with clients and insurers.

Ed likes a transparent and direct approach to business, open communication and a collaborative approach to solving problems. He and the team will be responsible for design, strategy and management of large, complex Stock Throughput Insurance program for our network offices.
