Andrew is the Project Cargo and DSU Underwriter at Starr Companies in London and has been underwriting Marine Cargo, Project Cargo, Heavy Lift and DSU business for over 35 years.
He is the longest serving member of the Joint Cargo Committee which he chaired from 2019 to 2022.
Andrew is a recognised expert in marine project cargo and delay in start-up business and has managed the world’s largest project cargo consortium for over 11 years.  His consortium is supported by Lloyd’s and London Company Markets.
He is a regular speaker at Cargo related conferences and has been involved in the production of numerous cargo wordings and clauses, which he says has helped to bring clarity to the market.
Also a member of the team that produced the publication, Delay in start-up insurance – RS254B for the Insurance Institute of London.  He also sits on the I.I.L’s educational committee.
