Graham is a Legal Director in Kennedys’ London office. He qualified in England and Wales in 2010 and joined Kennedys in 2018, having previously trained and worked at another international law firm.

Graham represents insurers in relation to the adjustment and defence of claims involving all types of political risk and trade credit policies, including in relation to property damage, asset confiscation, contract frustration and change of law. Graham also has substantial experience advising insurers with respect to compliance with international financial and trade sanctions. He has co-authored a number of articles for trade publications, as well as The Times, in this regard.

Another area of focus for Graham is financial lines, in particular directors’ and officers’ claims. In this regard, Graham has represented insurers in relation to civil and criminal proceedings in a number of jurisdictions, including Italy and the Republic of Korea.

Graham has also advised insurers in relation to civil liability claims, including claims arising from civil engineering projects in the US, Colombia and Singapore, as well as a number of fire claims closer to home.

He is a member of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL).
