Jonathan’s marine career started in January 1986, working in the cargo claims team at Lloyd’s. He has held underwriting roles with RSA and Aviva including global underwriting roles for AIG and XL Catlin (AXA XL). He has been an elected member of the Joint Cargo Committee (Lloyd’s & IUA) and the Marine Technical Committee (IUA).  He joined the Gallagher Cargo team in September 2024 from Howden where he was the Managing Director, Cargo.
